Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
Your city is planning to ban public smoking. The city has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents think about it.
Option A: Smoking should be banned in public places.
Smoking in public places :
Option B: Smoking should not be banned in public places.
Dear officer, I would like to choose option A in which smoking should be banned in public area Even though should not be banned in public places. Smoking creates a lot of air pollution due to that it's affecting health. The first reason is when any one person is smoking in a public area that time other people are moving from those places like seniors, children, and teenagers. They are watching the smoker due to that they also intimate and think we also need to try it. Due to more smoking, it directly affects the lungs because of the tar. Secondly, tobaccos and vibes are very dangerous to our bodies. Smoking is the main reason for Lung Cancer and to a great extent, it is responsible for most of the Heart Disease, and sometimes result in complications during pregnancy. It does not affect immediately but gradually it will impact our body. Based on the above reason, I believe smokers should not smoke in public areas. This is my point of view, but still, I will adopt a decision from the government.
