  • Give a description of the chain and the place where you found it.
  • Ask help from Secretary of the colony in tracing the owner

Dear Mr. Lewin, I am Mike, one of the residents of Blue Saphire Community. I am writing this email to you to seek your help in finding the owner of a gold chain I saw in society yesterday. I found this gold chain yesterday around 6:00 pm, while I was taking my dog for a walk in the ground situated near B-block. The jewelry was fallen near the entrance gate. Although there was no one in the field at that time, I waited for around one hour, hoping the owner would come in search of it. Looking at the design of the jewelry item, I am sure it belongs to a woman. Moreover, there is a heart-shaped diamond pendant attached to it. It might worth $3000. As the jewelry item is too expensive, I want to hand over this to its owner and hence, would like your support in tracing the owner. It would be great if you could check the CCTV footage, or put up a note on the notice board stating the incident. I would appreciate your prompt response. Thank you for your time and support. Warm Regards, Mike
