Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
You are working in a company offering IT services. Your company is conducting survey to know ways to improve working environment. There are two options :
Option A:Give a salary hike to all the employees on the basis of experience.
Job satisfaction survey :
Option B: Give a salary hike to all the employees on the basis of educational qualification.
To Whom it may concern. I am responding to your survey question regarding job satisfaction. In my opinion, Option A remuneration hike based on the experience is the optimal choice of the two presented. The success of any business depends on its employees and their perspective towards the Employer's common goal. A salary hike across all employees based on experience is an innovative way to appreciate the employees who participate in the enterprise's success through their hard work and throughout their professional careers. Furthermore, this initiative will also drive the employees towards excellence which will benefit the enterprise. In Contrast, salary hike based on education qualification will create further dissatisfaction among the employees. Simultaneously, this may be important for the specific employee with a higher qualification but employee with higher education already rewarded with the enterprise equity. Therefore the Option B is the least desirable choice given. In conclusion, I have chosen to Option A salary hike of all employees based on experience will bring the Employer's brightest perspective.
