Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions

Read the following information.

Your city is planning to develop new sports complex. The city has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents would like to have built in that area

Sports Complex development survey:

Option A: Athletic tracks and supports Complex: Sports complex will mainly provide facilities to Athletes.
Option B: Baseball ground: Authorities will develop ground with a good sitting capacity

Personally, I think a baseball ground with good sitting capacity is a better choice and needed at this point in time. Even though a sports complex with athletic tracks is a good option, however, a baseball ground would be more popular among our young community members of different age groups. At this point of time, the nearest baseball ground is about an hour's distance, it's getting more and more difficult for the parents with young kids to schedule and take them often, they manage to do it only once a week or at the most twice. Having a new baseball ground closer will be welcomed by the residents and the kids would be overjoyed. Another feature which would make the community members happy is about the capacity of sitting. The present ground barely manages to provide reasonable capacity, which is very disappointing, as kids would like many of their family members, like their grandparents to come and watch them play. Hence good sitting capacity would be really welcomed by the residents. Again, this is my personal opinion, but I will support whatever decision is taken by the city.
