Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions

Read the following information.

You are working in a company offering IT services. Your company is conducting survey to know ways to improve working environment. There are two options :

Job satisfaction survey. :

Option A:: Give a salary hike to all the employees on the basis of experience.
Option B: Give a salary hike to all the employees on the basis of educational qualification.

Although I can understand why some people would choose option B, my opinion is that the company should decide to base the salary hike on the employee's experience. The more experienced an employee is, the more profitable it is to the organization. Experienced professionals bring knowledge and know-how that facilitates the company's processes and procedures and make it faster. That's why those people must be compensated. It's nothing more than fair to value those specialists. From my point of view, practice is more important than qualifications. Although some people are highly qualified and have lots of certification, they may lack in experience. And that's where those experts employees step in. It may also be a way for the company to show gratitude to its senior staff. It might even reflect on the youngers, because they'll know that the company respects seniority. For all the reasons mentioned above, I believe that the company's environment would be improved if the company decides to offer a salary promotion based on experience. I want to say that although this is my opinion, I'll support whatever decision is made.
