Writing Task 1: Writing an Email

Read the following information.

Last week you had travelled in a domestic airline due to some business. You did not have a good experience with that airline. The discontentment, due to the poor service, made you complain about the airline.

Write an email to the Airline in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

  • Problems faced by regular passengers
  • Complain about the poor service

Dear Airline Manager, I am writing this email to complain about the services you offered during the recent journey. I traveled last weekend from Chicago to Atlanta in your flight as usual, but I had a horrible experience the first time during the trip. There were a lot of regular passengers having the same difficulties, and I am wondering if you have already received any complaints on the same. There was no service available, and even when I pressed on the call button, one attended came after so long and told there was rarely water left to serve. There was another problem with air-conditioning, it was so low that all of us were suffocating and when asked for help, the attended told that it was normal. They couldn't help with it as there was no one from the electric department to monitor the temperature. We're lucky enough to land safely on that day. I would request you to take action without any delay in the services. If it continues, no one will dare to book a flight in your airline, and you will have negative reviews on your website due to the low service offerings. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
