Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions

To Whom it may concern. I think refurbishing a gym would be a better option. Even though the new separate lanes need bikers, the renovating a gym would offer more practical benefits to the city residents. The first benefit for the renovated gym is safety. people won't feel unsafe while using new gym equipment. It has outdated equipment which is too risky for people to use. For example, yesterday one guy was doing squats, and suddenly the weight fell on his leg, and he got injured badly. The other benefits are to use other facilities like swimming pool and spa. As we know there is no any swimming pool and spa in our city nearby, unfortunately there is only one which is the corner of the city and very far for the residents. If city administrators are planning to add these facilities in the existing gym, it would be very convenient for people to use them efficiently. Considering these reasons, I believe refurbishing a gym would be a better choice. Everyone in the city would be overjoyed. Again, this is my personal opinion.
