Writing Task 1: Writing an Email

Read the following information.

You recently made an online purchase and the product was not the same as the description on the website.

Write an email to the website support department in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

  • What you purchased and when.
  • Exactly how it is different from the website description.
  • How you would like the company to fix the problem.

Dear Team Members, I am writing this email regarding my recent purchase of jeans from your website. I received my order yesterday evening that is placed on the 4th of Feb and the order number is 203389 for your reference. I got a pair of jeans that are not similar to as displayed on your website. I am your regular customer and haven`t experienced such kind of trouble before. The jeans which I received is totally different in color and size. I am pretty sure about my size because this is not my first time purchasing from your website. Moreover, the style of the article on your website displays the bootcut design but I got the straight fit. I am pretty sure you will not disappoint me this time and figure it out by replacing it with the original piece or make a refund for it. Please contact me if you need additional information related to the order. I hope something like this will never happen again in the future. Regards Joe
