Writing Task 1: Writing an Email

Read the following information.

You recently purchased a furniture from renowned furniture brand,

Write a letter to manager complaining about the poor quality of the furniture in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

  • Give details of the nature of the complaint,
  • Request for immediate repair or replacement as needed.

Dear Manager, I am writing this email to express my dissatisfaction with the quality of the dining table bought from your store on Baker's Street. Last month, I bought the dining table on 19th November 2020, from your store. It has been only a month, and it started to show cracks on the legs of all the chairs and the table. The screws seems to have loosened up, and the table and chairs are tubulating whenever we use them. I am a loyal customer of your store and have bought many items in the past. But the unsatisfied experience and the low quality of your product makes me question my views about your renowned furniture brand. I want to request an immediate replacement of the dining table. The invoice is attached to this email for your reference. Kindly let me know the pick-up and the drop timings by reverting to this email. Regards, Smith
