Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
NGO working for animal rights is conducting a survey to put ban on use of animals for experimentation. The NGO has sent out an opinion survey to see what people feel about the given options
Experimentation on animals Survey :
Option A: Option A:it is inhumane to treat animals as a machine.
Option B: Experimentation on animals for scientific purposes is justified.
To Whom it may concern. I want to opine in favour of option B, which is experimentation on animals for scientific purposes is justified as this seems a far better and clear choice for me than the other. However, it is inhumane to treat animals as machine is equally appealing. There are two primary reasons why option B is more advantageous than option A. Firstly, it helps as a result of a clinical trial; scientists can use animals as a clinical trial practice. For example, scientists use animals such as rabbits or mice for research to see the pros and cons before assigning treatment for patients. Secondly, it demonstrates how drugs are effective in animals. Indeed, drugs' effectiveness on animals has increasingly contributed to various types of experiments done on animals in the 2000s. Considering these reasons, I believe that experimentation on animals for scientific purposes is more worthy than inhuman to treat animals as machines.
