Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
Your city is planning to develop new sports complex. The city has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents would like to have built-in that area.
Sports Complex development survey:
Option A: Athletic tracks and supports Complex: Sports complex will mainly provide facilities to Athletes.
Option B: Baseball ground: Authorities will develop ground with a good sitting capacity
To whom it may concern. While I see the benefit of developing a sports club, I believe constructing a baseball ground is a better choice because it will allow people to watch live matches. Firstly, it will allow the mass audience to visit the stadium and view their favourite game. In other words, baseball matches were only telecasted on television earlier. Still, if this outdoor game is established in our town, people would be enthusiastic and excited to come and watch the game in front of their eyes. Secondly, Children would love to arrive with their parents over the weekends and enjoy the game as a holiday spot. It will help the authorities of the club in attracting more customers. Lastly, The playground can also be used to rent for various occasions. For example, the ground can be rented for a day to organize a concert since it has a higher capacity to occupy a large audience. It will, in turn, help in generating more revenues for better development in the future. In summary, whilst athletic tracks is a great plan, the baseball ground would yield more benefits.
