Writing Task 2: Responding to Survey Questions
Read the following information.
You are working in a company offering financial services. Your company is conducting a survey to improve the ways to recruit new employees. The company has sent an opinion survey to see what existing employees think about changes in recruitment policy. There are two options :
Recruitment policy survey :
Option A:Hire recruitment agency.
Option B: Hire people only through a reference from existing employees.
To Whom it may concern. I am glad to hear our company is expanding our client services and recruiting new employees for our existing team. In my opinion, I firmly believe that we should hire people through employee referral policy. I have few strong reasons to support my preference. As our company is into financial services, morale and honesty are crucial for our business Hence, choosing a person through employee referral would help us do the background checks as they are known to our existing employees. Moreover, by choosing this option, our company can save money. Instead of paying a considerable sum to recruitment agencies, we can reward our employees, thereby motivating them to refer natural resource. Finally, if we recruit people through this referral program, the new employees will create a better work environment without any work politics. Thus, I prefer to hire people through employee referral. I hope you will consider my choice. Regards Thomas.
